Indigestion – also called dyspepsia or abdominal pain – is a general term that describes discomfort in the upper abdomen. Indigestion is not a disease but a collection of symptoms, including bloating, belching and nausea. Although people generally felt indigestion, each person has indigestion different.
symptom
Many people with digestive disorders have one or more of the following symptoms:
* Feeling already full to eat even though they eat relatively little.
* Sense of fullness that lasts relatively long.
* Pain in the upper abdomen. Mild to severe pain arising in the area between the bottom of the breastbone (sternum) and the navel.
* Sensation of heat in the upper abdomen.
Other symptoms that often follow, among others:
* Nausea
* Stomach feels swollen, hard and uncomfortable.
care
Treatment can be done by changing lifestyles – especially avoid foods that could potentially interfere with digestion. Another treatment is with drugs. Most drugs are designed to reduce stomach acid or to help push food from the stomach into the small intestine.
